One day you wake up and everything is inside out. What does that mean?

The pen was in the closet and the clothes were on the desk.

My favorite rug was in the backyard and there was grass growing on the living room floor.

The garage was inside the car.

My dad was acting like my mother, and my mother was acting like my dad.
