Longtime tutor now based Online and in Pacifica, CA

In-Person: Pacifica

Welcome to beautiful Pacifica!

Tutoring takes place in the Sharp Park Neighborhood, inside a fully operational vintage trailer that has been lovingly restored at my home (pictures above). Below are many quick links to the neighborhood and city of Pacifica… we are just two blocks from the beach, and about 20 minutes from San Francisco.

Within easy walking distance in the neighborhood:

Grocery

Oceana Market (really great, extensive independent grocery store with deli, etc.)

Food and Drinks

Craftsman Coffee (fancy coffee in an adorable vintage van inside a cute warehouse space)

David’s Bagels (cute coffee shop with big outdoor patio (coffee is strong!)

Cafe Pacifica (not gourmet but good for a burger or veggie bagel)

Kitten and Pinky (Vietnamese sandwiches. I like the fresh veggie spring rolls or tofu noodle plate)

Table Wine (wine, craft beer and artisanal food items)

Torro Loco burritos and Peruvian food (I get the fajita burrito!)

Shampa’s Pies (I mean, pie!)

Shopping

Royal Bee Yarn Company (Kelley the owner is incredibly nice. Start knitting, you know you want to!)

Living Room Plant Co (great plant shop)

Florey’s Book Store (support our multi-generational family run independent bookstore!)

Cotton Crustacean (great science-themed t-shirts and more)

Magic Toy Box

In the Attic Antiques

Various antique stores along Palmetto

Library

Sharp Park Library

Walking and Hiking

Mori Point (gorgeous walk or hike along the beach levee and up into the bluffs)

The beach is two blocks from us. Great whale watching in season.

Mori Point Wetlands along beach
Mori Point Bluffs up Bootlegger Stairs

Soul Grind coffee shop and cafe with yummy food at south end of town by grocery outlet; grab a coffee and walk along the beach)

Need a mall (serramonte center), Target, Home Depot, Michael, etc? Most all of the big box stores are about ten-fifteen minutes away in Colma! Give it a google!

And, head to Daly City (about fifteen minutes) for Trader Joes
